Wesley Dysart

*Wesley Dysart* of Steamtown presents a nicely evolving house music mix, quite musical and engaging, with elements of deep house, soundtrack-ish electronica, progressive, and techno. Good stuff … we’d love to have you use it as a guest mix on your program.

In addition to his own Steamtown imprint Wesley Dysart has had releases on a group of esteemed labels including with tracks released on Nude Photo Music, CP Records, Farace Records, Dropbombz, and Scarcity Records. His dance oriented productions are focused on solid rhythms and multi-layered melody; drawing inspiration from a broad array of styles. Dysart has a background as a musician in a rock band, an orchestra, and a live electronica outfit and this shows in how he constructs a DJ set. There’s a keen sense of melody and creative arrangement present. In 2008 Wesley Dysart started Steamtown Records to push his own productions as well as those of a global selection of artists. The label’s forward-thinking sound has garnered acclaim from a load of DJs and industry types and looks to grow into a main player in the days to come.

This set is a diverse set of tunes that seeks to guide the listener through new territories as it gets the feet moving.
